Amprov is designed to help nearby people hear a live speaker. This policy explains how the Amprov MVP handles information.
The short version
Amprov uses your microphone and local network to provide a live audio session. The MVP is designed to transmit audio to devices in your room, not to record it or store it on Amprov servers. The marketing website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Information the app uses
When you use Amprov, the app may use or display:
- Microphone audio: If you host a room, Amprov needs microphone access to transmit your live voice to joined devices.
- Local network access: Amprov uses the local network to discover rooms and connect nearby devices.
- Room details: Room names and temporary passcodes help people identify and join a session.
- Device and session details: The app may display device names, connection status, battery level, and signal quality during a live session.
How information is used
Information is used only to provide and operate the live room experience, including discovering rooms, connecting participants, transmitting live audio, and showing session status.
Audio and retention
The Amprov MVP is intended for live audio transmission. It does not intentionally record or retain microphone audio after a live session ends. Room passcodes and live session details are temporary and intended to last only as long as needed to operate the session.
Sharing
Amprov does not sell personal information. Live audio and session details are shared with devices that join the same Amprov room. People should only host or join rooms they trust, and hosts should share passcodes carefully.
