Terms of Service

Effective June 17, 2026

These terms describe how Amprov™ may be used. By using Amprov™, you agree to use it responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws, venue rules, and participant expectations.

What Amprov™ does

Amprov™ is an iOS-first live audio app. A host device creates a room, and nearby listener devices can join using local discovery, QR links, or a short room code. The current app is designed for local live audio and does not require user accounts for room creation, joining, or local audio transmission.

Hosts, listeners, and rooms

A host device starts and controls a room. Listener devices join a room to hear the host's live audio. Joining as a listener is planned to remain free. Creating rooms may be free with limits or may require a paid Host Plan.

Free Rooms may be limited to up to 2 listener devices and a maximum duration of 10 minutes. When a Free Room reaches its expiration time, audio stops, listener devices disconnect, and the room is destroyed. Rooms may reject additional listener devices when the applicable listener limit is reached.

Host Plans and subscriptions

Paid Host Plans, if offered, are app-based subscriptions managed through Apple. Apple handles billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, proration, and payment information. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account subscription settings. App features, plan names, prices, listener limits, room duration limits, and availability may change over time, subject to App Store rules and applicable law.

Subscription upgrades may apply to newly created rooms rather than rooms that are already active.

Codes and access

Room codes and QR join links are access credentials. Share them only with intended participants. You are responsible for the people you invite into a room and for complying with venue rules and applicable laws.

Acceptable use

Do not use Amprov™ for unlawful recording, surveillance, harassment, unauthorized transmission of private conversations, infringement through music or other audio, or attempts to bypass capacity, room, or subscription limits. Hosts are responsible for event permissions, participant notice, recording consent if recording is ever used, and compliance with local laws.

Service limitations

Amprov™ performance can be affected by local network conditions, device hardware, iOS permissions, Bluetooth routing, battery level, speaker volume, distance between devices, acoustic feedback, and other technical conditions. Amprov™ is not a safety-critical, emergency, life-safety, broadcast-compliance, accessibility-accommodation, or guaranteed public-address system.

Future features

Future features may include accounts, browser clients, Android support, cloud relay, recording, AI transcription, audience interaction, moderation tools, queue management, hybrid streaming, analytics, diagnostics, and push notifications. Additional terms or policy updates may apply before those features launch.
